Our Madera, California location, just off Hwy 41, is open seven days a week for daycare, lodging, training and grooming. Each of our landscaped resorts features two doggy water parks with beachfront entry pools surrounded by all-weather artificial turf to allow every dog the chance to run, splash and play year-round. Our focus is entirely on the care of your furry friends. While they stay at Elaines Pet Resorts, your pet will make new friends, learn new social skills, get plenty of exercise, and will leave happy, stimulated and refreshed.

Elaines Pet Resorts has been family-owned and operated since 1989 and is proud to be in its third generation of high quality family pet care.  In the mid-1980s, Elaine Nestell was in search of a facility that she felt comfortable with leaving her pets when she was away from home. After not finding the perfect facility, Elaine designed a resort where best friends could stay––a place to leave her own pets with confidence. Founded in 1989, Elaines Pet Resorts opened its doors on a warm summer day in July and after 10 years of success with the original location in Fresno, CA, a second resort was opened in Madera, CA.

We also understand that pet care is not just about providing services; it’s about building relationships. Many of our clients have been with us for years, and we take pride in knowing their pets by name and understanding their unique personalities.
