Blast & Brew
Blast & Brew – Valley Community Hub – Supporting Local Businesses in Fresno, Clovis, and Madera
Damm Good,
Honest Food.
We make classic, American comfort food from scratch with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. And we do it better than anyone else.
Furthermore, we believe that food should tell a story. For instance, our pulled pork sandwich not only satisfies hunger but also highlights the traditional barbecue techniques passed down through generations. We source our pork from a local farm that practices humane treatment and sustainable farming, ensuring that every bite is as ethical as it is delicious.
Additionally, we offer seasonal specials that highlight the freshest produce available. In the summer, we feature a vibrant heirloom tomato salad, drizzled with a house-made basil vinaigrette that captures the essence of the season. Our chefs take pride in creating dishes that not only taste great but also celebrate the bounty of local farms.
In addition to our heirloom tomato salad, we also introduce a fall special featuring roasted butternut squash soup, made creamy with a hint of coconut milk and topped with spiced pumpkin seeds, giving you a warm embrace during the cooler months.
Our commitment to quality is reflected in each dish we serve. For instance, our mac and cheese is made using a blend of aged cheddar and creamy béchamel sauce, topped with a crunchy breadcrumb layer, ensuring a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Every bite takes you back to childhood memories of family gatherings and comfort food at its finest.
Our mac and cheese is a crowd favorite, but we also offer a vegan version made with cashew cream and nutritional yeast, ensuring that everyone can enjoy comfort food, regardless of dietary preferences.
At Blast & Brew, we are dedicated to supporting local businesses in the Fresno, Clovis, and Madera areas.
Supporting local businesses goes beyond sourcing ingredients. We collaborate with local artisans to create unique dining experiences. For example, our dessert menu features treats from a nearby bakery that specializes in organic pastries, allowing us to offer options that are both delicious and support our community.
Moreover, we partner with local farmers to host monthly farm-to-table dinners, where guests can enjoy a curated menu featuring ingredients sourced directly from our community. This initiative not only supports local agriculture but also fosters a deeper connection between our customers and the food they consume.
Self-Pour
Our self-pour system allows guests to explore a variety of flavors at their own pace. This innovative approach not only adds fun to the dining experience but also encourages patrons to try new beers they might not have chosen otherwise. With our state-of-the-art technology, you can sample small pours before committing to a full glass, making it easier to discover your new favorite brew.
This self-pour experience encourages exploration beyond the typical beer selection, as guests can discover new flavor profiles they may not have encountered otherwise. Our knowledgeable staff is always available to guide you through the options, ensuring a personalized experience.
Local, Craft Beer
In addition to craft beer, we pride ourselves on our wine selection, featuring local vineyards that produce unique varietals. Each month, we spotlight a local winery, offering exclusive tastings and pairing events that highlight the best of what our area has to offer.
We also offer wine flights that showcase the diversity of local vineyards, allowing you to taste and compare different varietals side by side. Each tasting is accompanied by a brief story about the vineyard and its unique growing practices, enhancing your appreciation of the wine.
We’ve got variety on tap—with over 26 rotating, seasonal craft beers and wines from regional, local and national breweries and wineries.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we minimize waste by using compostable packaging for takeout orders and sourcing eco-friendly products wherever possible. This initiative allows us to play a role in protecting our environment while serving great food.
In alignment with our sustainability goals, we are actively working to reduce our carbon footprint by implementing energy-efficient practices in our kitchen and dining areas. This includes using LED lighting, reducing water usage, and recycling whenever possible.
Moreover, we believe in providing a welcoming space for families. With a dedicated kids’ menu featuring healthy options, parents can feel good about bringing their children along for a meal. We also have a play area to keep the little ones entertained.
Additionally, we host family-friendly events like seasonal festivals, where kids can participate in fun activities such as pumpkin carving and face painting, making Blast & Brew a perfect destination for family outings.
The atmosphere at Blast & Brew is designed for everyone—whether you’re coming in for a casual meal with friends or celebrating a special occasion. Our spacious layout can accommodate large groups, and we often host events that bring the community together, such as trivia nights and local music showcases.
We also curate a monthly spotlight on a local artist or musician, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity. This initiative not only entertains our guests but also supports the local arts community, further embedding us within the fabric of Fresno, Clovis, and Madera.
Our craft beer selection is carefully curated to bring you the best brews from our region. We feature rotating taps that showcase local favorites, such as a citrusy IPA from Fresno-based brewery, showcasing the unique flavors of the area. We also host regular tasting events where patrons can meet the brewers and learn about the brewing process, enhancing the community experience.
Overall, we strive to create a sense of community at Blast & Brew, ensuring that every visit is not just a meal, but a memorable experience that brings people together and celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of our region.
Our tasting events go beyond just sampling; they often include interactive workshops where participants can learn about food pairing, the brewing process, or even cooking demonstrations from our chefs. This engagement fosters a deeper appreciation for the craft of beer and food.
